Local sources have raised questions, asking who should enforce the law? In this case, it seems that local authorities have overlooked the issue and allowed the owners of the villas to build solid structures that encroach on the riverbank for several meters.

Citizens are skeptical and question whether the local authorities are aware of the construction of the dam on the riverbank or not? Or do they know but not do anything about it?

And all of this is just opinions and reports from citizens. Local citizens would like to request Mr. Mov Manith, Governor of Chbar Ampov District and the Mayor of Prek Pra Sangkat, to please send experts to inspect the above location.
